Now is a great time for Texians to become active in the government of the Republic of Texas.

Only Texians who have their "Affidavit of Facts as a Texian" form on file with the Secretary of State are eligible to vote or to become a candidate for elected office.

1.  Texian voters can retrieve the ballots on or before Tuesday,  September 8, 2026.

2.  All Texian voters shall mail their completed ballot to the Secretary of State Department     

     Attn: Secretary of State. 

    The ballots must be postmarked Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at the latest.

    Any ballot postmarked after September 8, 2026 will be invalid.

3.  Additional information on elections is included with the ballot.

4. Ballots from the same household may be in a single envelope, but all others must be in    

    a separate envelope.
